RE: PETITION TO STOP THE RELIGIOUS PURGE OF CHRISTIANS FROM MILITARY
Dear [TITLE] [FIRST NAME] [LAST NAME]:
This urgent petition requests that you STOP THE PURGE OF CHRISTIANS FROM THE MILITARY enacted by a previous SECDEF, and restore religious freedom of conscience for our troops, cadets, and chaplains in Academies and all branches of service.
Newspapers confirm "religious purge" from military:
- 24,000 service-members denied religious exemptions
- 4,000 service-members involuntarily discharged, including:
- 13 Academy cadets reprimanded
- 357 pilots 32 TOP GUN or USAF FIGHTERS suspended
- 10 lawsuits fight anti-Christian purge of American troops
- 13 US Senators co-sponsoring Religious Freedom bill
Here is our petition to you, please:
- Call or write SECDEF to enforce existing law protecting conscience beliefs of troops and military chaplains, now pressured to violate their integrity.
- Strengthen laws protecting men and women of faith in uniform from discrimination because of sincerely held religious beliefs, even if they oppose transgenderism.
- Co-sponsor or support your colleagues now enacting religious freedom or conscience efforts for our military.
- Please pass stronger religious freedom amendments in law.
Sincerely,
[YOUR NAME]
